*Overview*A position has arisen for a qualified Vehicle Technician here at Corner House Garage, a modern, independent village garage situated in Broughton Astley. With 35 years established trading, we strive to deliver exceptional service to our customers and continue to meet high standards of professionalism throughout all departments in the business.We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.Business Hours are 8:00am to 5:30 pm Monday to FridayPay is dependant on experience - circa £35,000.*Responsibilities** Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues* Perform repairs and maintenance tasks using appropriate tools and techniques* Diagnose faults accurately using Snap On/ Autel diagnostic equipment* Replace or repair defective parts including but not limited to tyres, brakes, suspension components and Timing Belts.* Test vehicles post-repair to ensure issues have been resolved effectively* Maintain detailed records of all work carried out in accordance with company standards* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during vehicle servicing and repairs* Compliance with GDPR and all Company Policies at all times* Carry out MOT's and repairs on Class 4 and 7 vehicles and Motorhomes.*Requirements** Proven mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment* Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills* Level 3 NVQ and MOT certified required with up-to-date training* A valid driving licence is required* EV/Hybrid experience advantageous* Able to supply own tools*Benefits** Company Pension* On site Parking* 22 Days annual Holiday* No scheduled Weekends or Bank HolidaysJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £35,000.00 per yearLicence/Certification:* Driving Licence (required)* MOT Qualification (required)* Level 3 Vehicle Technician Qualification (required)Work Location: In person
