Corbenic Camphill Community
We are recruiting for a Full-Time Support Worker. You will work a variety of shifts between Monday-Sunday for 37.5 hours per week.
You will be working in a team of staff managed by a House Co-ordinator and Assistant House Co-ordinator, focusing on aspects of care within one of our houses.
General Responsibilities will include:
1. Cooking and serving meals to residents.
2. Administering high-quality, person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities, ensuring their wellbeing at all times.
3. Assisting with daily activities according to the wishes and needs of the resident, including transporting and accompanying them to health appointments and outings.
4. Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
5. Providing care for residents on outings and holidays, either one-to-one or in groups.
6. Contributing to assessments, care plans, and attending resident reviews as required.
7. Working towards achieving SVQ3 in line with SSSC qualification and registration requirements.
8. Providing personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, undressing, toileting, bathing, and sanitary needs.
