Senior Designer - Hull & Outfit - 12 month contract - Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria - £30.12 ph UMB or £22.12 ph PAYE +£8 if living 39 miles away from site (Inside IR35)

The Role
* Senior Designer; applies understanding of a range of design processes, tools, systems and techniques, and applies these to design or detail for assemblies, components or systems. Designs and develops solutions to common or well-articulated design situations, problems and issues.
* Works under limited technical supervision.
* Role Purpose: Applies understanding of a range of design processes, tools, systems and techniques, and applies these to design or detail for assemblies, components or systems. Designs and develops solutions to common or well-articulated design situations, problems and issues.
What are BAE Systems looking for from you?
* Applies proven techniques and procedures to design and develop solutions.
* Resolves design issues and problems for a range of design situations.
* Diagnose and resolve operational, repair, installation and commissioning problems and issues.
* Develop and produce models, drawings and other design outputs consistent with the contractual requirements to meet target dates and budget demands (delivery to time, quality and budget).

The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e., the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs).
