Cabin Fitter
Location: Speke, L24
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £12.78 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
All candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test.
Role Overview
As a Cabin Fitter, you will play a key role in refurbishing, modernising, and fully renewing modular units, transforming used cabins into high-quality, ready-for-hire buildings. This is a hands-on role suited to someone practical, adaptable, and comfortable working across a variety of trade tasks.
About the Role
You will be working within a refurbishment environment, carrying out general maintenance and fitting work to ensure cabins meet company quality standards and customer expectations. This position is ideal for someone with strong DIY skills and experience across multiple trades.
Key Responsibilities
* Manual preparation for painting
* Basic plumbing tasks
* Fitting windows and doors
* General maintenance duties
* Safe use of power tools
* Removing and replacing flooring
* Removing and fitting wall and ceiling panels
* Maintaining high quality standards throughout all work
* Ensuring completed cabins meet company and customer expectations
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will be semi-skilled or multi-skilled, with experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Joinery
* Plumbing
* Electrical work
You should also:
* Have a good level of general DIY ability
* Be flexible and willing to turn your hand to a variety of tasks
* Take pride in producing high-quality work
* Be reliable and able to work well as part of a team
