An 11–18 secondary school is seeking a committed Pastoral Support Assistant to join its established pastoral team.
This is a school with strong safeguarding systems, clear behaviour expectations and a proactive approach to attendance, wellbeing and early intervention. Pastoral staff are central to the school’s day-to-day operations.

£95 – £115 per day (PAYE) | Full-Time | Immediate Start
The Role
You will:
* Support pupils with attendance, punctuality and engagement
* Deliver 1:1 mentoring sessions focused on wellbeing and behaviour
* Monitor and track pastoral interventions
* Liaise with Heads of Year, safeguarding and SEND teams
* Support reintegration following absence or suspension
* Act as a consistent, professional adult presence
The role combines relationship-building with structure and accountability.
