The Current Opportunity Fields of Life is growing, and we are currently seeking to appoint a Church Partnerships Manager to help us manage relationships with key churches, organise Team trips to travel to East Africa, and to ultimately grow income for the important work that Fields of Life does. This new role is a key position within Fields of Life, supporting us in networking, building relationships, and cultivating key churches across Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and the Great Britain. Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this is an exciting role requiring a highly personable individual with a broad range of relationship building and networking skills. As part of a small and dynamic team, the role is diverse and requires someone who can inspire and influence others, confidently speak in churches, and is eager to travel to foster meaningful connections. Fields of Life represents an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent relational skills who wants to make a difference with the talents they have been given. Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland, or remote with regular travel to Lisburn office. Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience) The Candidate The role requires a driven and confident communicator with excellent interpersonal ability. Here is a summary of the key candidate requirements: Knowledge and experience Proven ability in fundraising or sales. Experience of cultivating and managing strong relationships with supporters or key accounts. Experience of networking with key individuals and networks to increase organisational profile and income. It is desirable that you have experience of working with IT and CRM systems e.g., MS Office/ Salesforce. Understanding of the Christian charity sector and church network in Northern Ireland, Ireland and the U.K. Skills, attributes and personal qualities There is an occupational requirement that this individual has a practicing Christian faith. Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to develop rapport quickly in one-on-one, small group and larger audience settings. Passionate about international development, particularly in East Africa. Strong team player with flexible attitude to work priorities. Well organised and highly motivated, capable of developing the role over time. Self-starter and ability to work independently to meet deadlines and targets. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours on occasion and to travel. Job Description The Church Partnerships Manager is a key member of the Fields of Life fundraising team, reporting to the Fundraising Manager. The position incorporates a blend of strategy, researching, networking, presenting, fundraising, relationship building, and cultivating long-lasting relationships on behalf of Fields of Life. This role will often be the face of Fields of Life to churches and groups, and regular travel will be a key aspect of the role. The main duties and responsibilities are as follows: Strategy To work with the Fundraising Manager to establish a strong partnership strategy for churches and groups. To research current and prospective churches connected with Fields of Life across the Fields of Life network. To create compelling and inspiring fundraising materials and documents to inspire existing and new major donors. Fundraising & Networking To connect churches with key Fields of Life partner schools across East Africa To inspire churches to take teams to come out and volunteer in East Africa. To grow church income across the Fields of Life network. To attend and explore key church networks. To organise events that create opportunities for building relationships with new and existing churches. To keep churches informed about the difference they are making through thanking, preparing quality and timely reports, and other bespoke communication. To collaborate with other members of the fundraising team to connect and build relationships with key individuals connected with churches. Cultivating Relationships To be responsible for building strong and long-lasting relationships on behalf of Fields of Life, championing the work of Fields of Life and highlighting projects and campaigns. To meet and establish relationships with new and prospective churches and present financial giving opportunities. Ensure the CRM system is thoroughly documented with precise and well-managed donor information, including comprehensive donor journey plans to enhance engagement and stewardship. To travel to engage with and deliver presentations to key churches across Northern Ireland, Ireland, and GB, fostering meaningful connections and partnerships. To travel to East Africa with key church groups, showcasing Fields of Life programmes Other To work alongside and encourage the wider fundraising team in meeting their goals. To participate and sometimes lead weekly devotions and prayer meetings. To pray for the work and financial needs of Fields of Life. To do anything else that may be required by the CEO or Fundraising Manager that will aid in fulfilling Fields of Lifes goals and ambitions.
