Responsibilities
* Assist with the setup and model management of project models in accordance with project standards.
* Support the MEP team in producing high‑quality, data‑rich 3D models and drawings, including mechanical pipework, ventilation, lighting, power, containment and drainage.
* Take responsibility for specific aspects of BIM delivery and drawing packages from concept to completion.
* Coordinate all MEP services, liaising with architecture and structural teams to ensure spacing for access, maintenance and buildability in line with project scope and tolerances.
* Use Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, ACC/Forma, BIM360, BIMCollab and other tools to deliver BIM according to ISO 19650.
* Mentor apprentice team members within the BIM environment.
* Utilise Common Data Environments and collaboration platforms such as ACC/Forma and BIM360 to support digital solutions and improve working practices.
* Provide technical support to the project team using Revit.
* Collaborate with senior technicians and team members to support group development.
Qualifications
* BTEC ONC / HNC in Building Services Engineering or an equivalent BIM qualification.
* EngTech qualification or in progress.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
* Experience within the building services industry (consultancy and/or contractor).
* Minimum 4 years experience of model and drawing production using Revit MEP.
* Understanding of EIRs and BEPs, and the ability to interpret and implement them.
* Awareness of using Navis/ACC for reviews, visual audits and clash detection.
* Ability to prepare drawings and models with limited input from engineers, using own experience to convert sketches.
* Knowledge of MEP systems and how services should be routed and coordinated to a design level of detail.
* Ability to communicate technical issues to co‑professionals, contractors and clients.
* Proven success working in a team environment.
* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work on multiple projects.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
* Experience with ACC/Forma, BIM360 collaboration tools.
* Understanding of how building services are coordinated and installed to a construction level of detail.
* Familiarity with industry standards, particularly all parts of BS EN ISO 19650.
* Sector experience in data centres, rail, hospitals or science laboratories.
* Experience working in a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Revit family creation and maintenance (data exchange).
* Programming experience (Dynamo, Python, etc.).
