Salary: £31,925 to £33,869 pro rata
£12,770 to £13,548 actual salary

We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Management Accountant to join the Finance team at Heart of Yorkshire Education Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, turning data into insight, and making a real impact in an organisation that changes lives through education.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll provide high-quality financial support to budget holders across the Group, ensuring the integrity of the financial ledger and delivering timely, insightful management information.
You will be required to:
1. Prepare accurate and timely management reports for designated budget holders
2. Assist with preparation and profiling of annual budgets for income, pay and non-pay expenditure
3. Monitor and maintain postholder details across the Group establishment, and ensure accuracy of the salary costs and budgets
4. Provide finance system training to staff in other areas of the Group
This is a diverse role where you will be building relationships with curriculum and support staff, and many other stakeholders.

You will have:
5. GCSEs in Maths and English A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
6. Level 4 Association of Accounting Technicians or equivalent
7. An IT qualification is desirable but not essential
8. Management accounting experience, including preparation, profiling and monitoring of budgets
