IMH Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Conference and Review Officer to join our client's team in Oldham, OL1. This role is essential in providing effective and comprehensive co-ordination and support to Child Protection Conferences and Children Looked After Reviews.
Duties:
* Organise Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Reviews.
* Prepare and distribute key documents to professionals and families.
* Take accurate, high-quality meeting minutes.
* Manage and update sensitive case information securely.
* Create and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and office systems.
* Investigate and resolve data or process issues.
* Handle complex queries and customer interactions professionally.
* Support continuous improvement and staff development.
* Work flexibly to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Hybrid working option when not needing to attend meetings.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
* Experience of co-ordinating and minuting complex meetings, dealing with information that is distressing.
* Strong emotional resilience to listen to information which will be distressing and upsetting.
* Able to communicate with a variety of audiences including professionals and families, with a high level of sensitivity due to the nature of child protection activity.
* Understanding of Children’s Social Care Services.
* Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations and the need to keep personal data secure and confidential.
* Understanding why safeguarding is important when working with children, young people and vulnerable adults.
* Able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service including at different locations.
* A driving licence is not essential but is preferred.
* This role may also require a DBS Check prior to a start.
Hours & Pay:
* Monday - Friday:
* Working hours to be confirmed at interview stage
* 37 Hours Per week.
* £14.75 per hour.
