The Role:
• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5
• Explore world history, British heritage, and contemporary issues with lively, inclusive teaching
• Foster students’ analytical skills and historical thinking through discussions, debate, and source work
• Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities, including trips and themed days
• Work collaboratively with a strong Humanities department and committed leadership team
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience or strong placement teaching History at GCSE and A-Level
• Passion for storytelling, historical inquiry, and helping young people understand their world
• Ability to inspire diverse learners and differentiate effectively
• Organised, motivated, and reflective practitioner with strong classroom presence
