What you’ll do
Prepare, negotiate, and manage all project budgets and cost plans.
Procure and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance and timely payments.
Identify and oversee commercial risks and contractual matters.
Produce detailed monthly cost and value reconciliation reports.
Lead and mentor your commercial team, working closely with operations to ensure successful outcomes.
What we’re looking for
Degree-qualified professional with solid civil engineering experience—particularly across clean water, marine, ports, flood, and defence projects.
Strong understanding of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
Excellent financial acumen, negotiation, and communication skills.
Highly organised and self-motivated, able to meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
Flexibility to travel to project sites across Scotland as required.
