A leading, global law firm is continuing its rapid growth and is now seeking an eDisclosure Project Manager in London.
Purpose of the role
This role involves delivering eDisclosure solutions to lawyers and clients, managing an external panel of eDisclosure vendors, and promoting the use of eDisclosure services across the firm. Additionally, it includes defining the firm's strategy for eDisclosure technology and conducting training and awareness sessions.
Responsibilities:
1. Promote understanding and usage of eDisclosure technology and services within the firm.
2. Provide technical and consultancy support to legal teams and clients, following the stages of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
3. Manage matters involving data identification, collection, processing, review, or disclosure.
4. Lead discussions with clients and negotiate pricing with third-party providers.
5. Stay informed about market developments, legal changes, technological advances, and competitors.
6. Prepare and deliver training materials and presentations.
7. Ensure high standards in eDisclosure service delivery, adhering to industry best practices, internal processes, and time and budget constraints.
8. Support the development and implementation of eDisclosure services firm-wide.
9. Manage eDisclosure projects, including litigation, arbitration, data subject access requests, and investigations.
10. Oversee projects from scope definition to trial.
11. Collaborate with the innovation team to identify potential solutions.
12. Mentor and coach lawyers proactively.
13. Manage third-party providers at both project and firm levels.
Experience and technical skills:
1. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
2. Collaborative approach with strong relationship-building skills.
3. Diplomatic and tactful, especially under pressure.
4. Excellent project and change management capabilities.
5. Experience delivering eDisclosure/eDiscovery projects in professional or financial services environments.
6. Previous experience as an eDisclosure Project Manager in a law firm or vendor setting.
7. Strong technical knowledge of eDisclosure and litigation support.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to simplify technical information for clients and lawyers.
9. Degree or equivalent experience in technology or law-related disciplines preferred.
10. Hands-on experience with technology-assisted reviews (TAR), email threading, and near-duplication functions.

This role is hybrid, based in London, with 2 days WFH and 3 days in the office.
