A Personal Assistant is required for a young lady with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, Delayed Global Development, Autism, and Tourette’s in the HU2 area of Hull. This role would require a PA to do 2 sleepovers a week.
The young lady attends a Day centre Monday to Friday. The PA would need to take her daily, pick her up after the day centre, and then take her home for a meal. It would be preferred if the PA was a driver and had access to a vehicle to enable them to support the young lady to attend day centre and medical appointments. Mileage costs will be met by the employer.
The PA would need to support with some personal and continence care.
The young lady enjoys going out to the shops, cinema, and the local park walking the dog when it's quiet. The PA would need to accompany her in the community. At home, the young lady enjoys listening to YouTube and music.
In addition, the PA should be honest, reliable, and good at communicating, tolerant, and non-judgemental, and able to build good relationships based on trust and respect. The hours of work are flexible and can be discussed at interview.
