Post: Locum Specialty Dentist in Orthodontics base: GLASGOW DENTAL HOSPITAL & school The post offered is a fixed term position for 6 Months within the Orthodontics, Secondary Care Dental based at Glasgow Dental Hospital. Applications are invited for the post of 0.2 WTE Speciality Dentist in Orthodontics based at Glasgow Dental Hospital & School, the largest provider of oral healthcare in Scotland. The post holder will join one of the busiest orthodontic departments in the UK. Opportunities exist for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, quality improvement and participation in research. The department has close links with other dental specialties within Glasgow Dental Hospital as well as surgical specialities in the Royal Hospital for Children and the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Applicants must have full GDC registration and a minimum of 4 years of relevant postgraduate dentistry experience. It is desirable, but not essential that applicants are on the GDC Specialist List for Orthodontics. Applicants must have experience of Orthodontic service provision in an NHS hospital or for applicants from overseas, have the ability to demonstrate a full understanding of the provision of an Orthodontic service within a UK context. The primary focus of this position will be to provide specialist level care for multidisciplinary orthodontic patients under consultant supervision.
