Job Summary
Creates a local marketing plan in conjunction with global priorities and local business requirements. Interacts directly with product managers, vertical marketing, marketing operations, marketing programs specialists to identify new marketing opportunities, build plans and measure results. Prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions from the sales organization. Works individually or with a team in recommending activities (to include third party events, Equinix events, direct marketing, digital marketing, social media, PR, AR, telemarketing), scheduling and planning projects, estimating costs and managing projects to completion. Management of local agencies for PR, macros, event management, telemarketing. Responsibilities also include lead and opportunity pipeline management (in close cooperation with sales), developing strategies, and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing activities.
Responsibilities
Program Management
* Contributes to the planning and execution of global and local programs and activities in territory
* Works in close conjunction with vertical subject matter experts and sales and leadership team to identify and target select key accounts for acquisition or where it is deemed there is substantial potential for growth
* Rolls out highly targeted marketing programs to encourage strategic engagement with Equinix
* Delivers high impact product/solution/service launches within their territory in alignment with Regional launch plans
Event Planning and Execution
* Manages different types of events within the territory from start to finish including all aspects of event management and logistics pre and post event, including working with 3rd parties and agencies to deliver the right event experience and ROI
* Provides reporting on events and campaign to measure campaign effectiveness
* Provides input into social media campaigns to drive successful activities
Agency Management
* Agency management for designated local activity
* Works with Creative Services or third party agencies to develop supporting materials and collateral
Lead Generation
* Ensures activities generate forecast ROI in terms of MQLs/Opportunities within
Lead Management SLAs
* Works with Marketing Operations to ensure Leads are captured and progressed through global lead management process and tools
Lead Management
* Works with Opportunity Development and Sales to ensure leads progress and are qualified and converted
* Utilizes SFDC to monitor lead progression and obtain feedback on quality
Collaboration
* Liaison and planning with local sales teams
* Liaises with regional and global marketing specialists for product, vertical marketing, programs, marketing operations
Budget Management
* Prepares and coordinates activity budgets and escalates concerns to more senior members when project costs exceed planned budget expenditure
* Manages budget for events

Qualifications
* Proven years experience preferred
* Bachelor's degree preferred
