Our client delivers facilities management services across a large portfolio of secure sites throughout England and Wales, ensuring environments remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
The Maintenance Electrician plays a key role in ensuring both planned and reactive maintenance activities are carried out safely, compliantly, and within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all Health & Safety standards are met across the contract
Test and inspect electrical installations in line with current IEE Wiring Regulations
Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
Carry out planned and preventative electrical maintenance
Diagnose and replace failed domestic electrical components
Actively fault find and resolve issues on domestic electrical systems
Undertake electrical installation works in line with provided designs and IET Wiring Regulations
Monitor, manage, and order critical spares for all electrical services
Oversee and monitor the BMS system
Support zero carbon and sustainability initiatives
Complete additional tasks as directed by the line managerWhat We’re Looking For:
Relevant technical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds 2365 Parts 1–3, BTEC, or NVQ Level 3 or above)
BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations – 18th Edition
Knowledge and experience of electrical systems and Electricity at Work Regulations
Proven experience in electrical maintenance, installation, distribution, and testing
Ability to work independently and use initiative
