Mark Marshall is the largest landscape gardening content creator in the UK with over 3 million followers across all platforms. We are seeking a Social Media Operative to join his social team!
About Us: Our business has experienced rapid growth on social media in the last 12 months. We produce a variety of engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos, which generate over 120 million views every month and +1B views in 2024.
Role Overview: We are looking for a Social Media Operative to support our Social Media Manager, working closely to help manage socials and edit our video content, including YouTube thumbnail design.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create high-CTR thumbnails to maintain success of long-form YouTube videos.
* Create initial cuts and edits of social media content.
* Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to ensure the content aligns with our brand and vision.
* Utilise various editing softwares to edit videos.
* Assist with managing comments on various platforms.
* Maintain a high standard of video quality and consistency across all platforms.
Requirements:
* Experience in Thumbnail design for YouTube
* Basic familiarity with video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve/Adobe Premiere Pro/InShot/CapCut.
* Familiarity with design software (eg. Canva/Photoshop)
* Basic understanding of video editing principles and techniques.
* Creative mindset with attention to detail.
* Ability to work on-site in Macclesfield, East Cheshire.
