Contract: Fixed Term (12 months)
Salary: £39,152 £42,839 per annum (Grade 7)
Hours: 36.66 per week
Location: Spindles

Role Overview:
Working within Oldham’s Adolescent Support team you will lead a family work team focused on adolescents and their families, ensuring high-quality, preventative interventions that reduce escalation to statutory services. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating service delivery, and promoting positive outcomes for young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

* To lead the service through effective supervision and identification of priorities to undertake direct work with children, young people, their families, schools/settings and health partners.
* To support the Team Manager in ensuring the quality and timeliness of the team’s work, including responsiveness of service delivery, standards of case recording, and in particular meeting deadlines and standards for statutory and court directed work
* To manage and motivate members of the team supervising casework and providing support and challenge in order to develop practice and achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
* To build strong relationships with schools, health services, youth justice, voluntary agencies and RISE to ensure the appropriate delivery of family support for adolescents and their families.
* To contribute to effective team and practice development ensuring staff have the skills, abilities and knowledge required to meet the developing service needs.


Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will be able to:

* Experience of working within a multi-agency environment and building and sustaining working relationships across a range of services and partners.
* Strong organisation skills, with ability to effectively prioritise and manage own caseloads as well as being able to support other staff in managing their own caseloads.
* Ability to analyse service data in order to assess performance and inform service improvement.
