Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) – 6 Months (Initial) - £1000p/d (Inside of IR35) – London
Leading University requires now requires a hands-on Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is required to take immediate ownership of two critical incidents, providing calm leadership, structure, and direction in a complex environment.
This is a senior operator role, suited to someone who combines strategic authority with the ability to execute at pace.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strong background in Incident Management, previous experience managing major incidents
* Able to take ownership and lead under pressure
* Hands-on, practical, and delivery-focused
* Comfortable working with senior stakeholders
* Calm, credible, and easy to work with
Key Requirements:
* Leading active security incidents through to resolution
* Bringing structure, clarity, and control to the situation
* Acting as a key point of leadership for teams and stakeholders
* Communicating clearly with senior leadership
* Helping stabilise and improve the overall security position
