The Radiology Division is expanding in terms of workforce and hardware to meet the demands of our increasing workload. The Health Board (BCUHB) recognises the importance of Radiology in delivering national and local standards in many aspects of healthcare, and are investing in the expansion of Radiology. Please contact Dr Mitra for further discussion Main duties of the job Job entails symptomatic and screening work. Support breast multi-disciplinary team (MDT), multimodality breast reporting (Mammograms, MRI/CT) as well as Radiology Assisted Breast Core Biopsy (RABC) Candidates should have the ability to perform interventional procedures such as Magseed localisation, Stereotactic/Vacuum Biopsies, Ultrasound guided Core biopsies and cyst drainages. The post holder would be expected to contribute and support these services and attend the MDTs. Screening work will be done at Breast Test Wales and includes MDT and RABC. The post holder will have responsibility for teaching, quality assurance, and service management within their specialist areas and will contribute to the wider workload of the department subject to job plan discussions, including general radiology, on call rotas and teaching of radiology trainees, undergraduate students, and other hospital staff.
