Production Expeditor & Demand Planner Stroud – Permanent – Full-time – Day shift, early finish Friday – Salary Dependent on Experience A long-established engineering firm in the Stroud area is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to oversee scheduling and coordination of post-production processes. This is a pivotal role within the manufacturing operations team, responsible for ensuring efficient flow and delivery of components through critical finishing stages. The Role: Act as the main point of contact for client updates regarding process progression Coordinate priorities for finishing operations, ensuring timely movement of parts through key treatments Plan around team availability and equipment downtime to maintain workflow continuity Communicate effectively across departments to ensure alignment with production targets Support internal teams in delivering to strict customer deadlines Provide visibility of project progress to management and stakeholders The Person: Minimum 3 years’ background in a fast-paced production setting Strong multitasking ability, able to manage overlapping priorities and shifting timelines Confident using standard software tools (e.g., Excel, Outlook) and manufacturing systems Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Understanding of compliance environments (e.g., aerospace standards such as AS9100) – advantageous Familiarity with treatments or surface finishing processes – beneficial
