Job Summary
We areseeking an experienced Cost Engineer to join our Project Managementteam (PMT). Project Management Teams are directly responsible andaccountable for the delivery of best in class capital projectsassigned to department. PMT is directly involved in executing andmanaging assigned projects safely on schedule within budget and tothe highest standards of integrity and compliance. This willinvolve engineering design procurement and construction of varioussizes types and complexity of small medium to multibillion dollarmega size projects. Some of these mega projects include the MarjanIncrement Program the Crude Oil to Chemicals program the GasCompression Program the Berri & Zuluf Increment and AMIRALProgram.
Responsibilities:
* Execute capital projects according to thescope schedule and budget.
* Provide costanalysis controls and reporting for Capital and nonCapitalprojects.
* Offer input and recommendations forcost engineering requirements including staffing project controlsand analyzing scope quantities and cost data.
* Organize monitor and control project costs aligning withcontractual requirements objectives and Companyprocedures.
* Ensure accurate reporting of allproject commitments and maintain updated project and expenditureforecasts.
* Proactively advise management offorecasted costs exceeding the approved budget.
* Utilize statistical tools for cost metrics analysis andrisk assessment.
* Analyze contractors costreports and extract necessary data for managementreporting.
* Prepare and deliver monthly costengineering information along with additional adhoc reports asrequested by Management.
* Provide costengineering expertise and coordinate activities as a group/unitleader for the cost portion of engineering procurement andconstruction contracts.
* Collect monitoranalyze and report all cost information through the ProjectManager.
* Review and analyze all claims andChange Orders on project contracts.
* Participate in project contract negotiations asnecessary.
* Take appropriate action when thetotal forecast indicates that allocated funds will beexceeded.
Requirements:
* This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
* Hold a bachelors degreein Engineering from a recognized university.
* Possess a minimum of fifteen years of cost engineeringexperience in oil and gas petrochemical refinery projects orfacilities.
* Have at least ten years ofexperience in managing project budgets cost tracking forecastingand financial reporting.
* Demonstrate broadmultidiscipline knowledge and experience in cost engineering forOil and Gas projects.
* Possess a certificationfrom a Professional Organization which is highlyrecommended.
