The Role
Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist school in Tadworth supporting children and young people aged 4–19 with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and challenging behaviours.
Details
The role involves working within a specialist educational setting, supporting students with complex communication and behavioural needs. You will provide assessment and intervention to support communication, emotional regulation, and access to learning.
Responsibilities
* Manage a paediatric caseload of children and young people with ASD
* Complete speech, language, and communication assessments
* Develop and implement individualised therapy plans
* Support students with social communication and behavioural regulation
* Work collaboratively with school staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team
* Contribute to EHCPs and educational outcomes
* Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
Requirements
* HCPC registration
* Experience working within paediatric speech and language therapy
* Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and communication needs
* Ability to work independently within educational settings
* Strong communication and organisational skills
