Our client, a prominent brand, operating in the Automotive Retail Industry, is currently looking to employ a vastly experiienced and business savvy Group Financial Manager to their team, based in East London.
This is a senior management position with a package to match.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5+ years post-articles experience
* At least 2 years in a managerial / leadership role
* Experience within group structures / multi-entity environments
* Motor retail / dealership experience highly advantageous
* CA(SA), or
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance + completed Articles at registered Audit Firm
Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership and Strategy
* Provide strategic financial insight to Executive Management
* Influence business performance and profitability outcomes
* Partner with COO on commercial and operational decisions
* Drive financial planning and performance improvement initiatives
Financial Management and Reporting
* Oversee group financial reporting across multiple entities
* Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
* Analyse results and present recommendations to leadership
Controls, Governance and Compliance
* Maintain strong internal controls and governance frameworks
* Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
* Manage external audits and stakeholder reporting
* Oversee risk management processes
Group and Dealership Finance
* Manage finance across multiple dealerships and OEM relationships
* Consolidate group financial information
* Monitor dealership performance and key KPIs
* Support stock, asset, and working capital management
Risk and IT Oversight
* Manage standard business risk items including insurance
* Oversee integrity of IT systems and financial systems controls
* Support business continuity and systems governance
Leadership
* Lead and develop finance teams
* Build strong relationships with executive and operational teams
* Promote accountability, collaboration, and performance culture
