Senior Document Controller/ Information Manager Role - Aconex

I am currently working with a medium sized main contractor in the recruiting of a Senior Document Controller/ Information Manager to oversee various London based projects.
The DC is responsible for managing all correspondence and documentation for a project. The system they use is Aconex and you must have experience using this, and comfortable to teach this to more junior DCs.
You will report directly to the Head of Document Control and will look after the following;
People & Team
* Be the first point of contact for Document Controllers and provide help and guidance when needed.
* Provide support to Head of Document Control and assist with the improvement of the document control processes and procedures.
* Lead other Document Controllers and develop their skills and knowledge.
Corporate Responsibility/Sustainability
* Assist with local community interface.
* Input sustainability data onto reporting platforms.
* Oversee the sustainability data input role on portfolio of projects.
Technical & Role Specifics
* Carry out routine document control activities on various projects, including QA checks, RFIs, workflows management and transmittals to contractors.
* Ensure designers and contractors are publishing documents in accordance with the protocols and QA rejected files are revised and resubmitted in a timely manner.
* Ensure all project documentation is processed, transmitted and/or filed within the EDMS and always up to date.
* Assist both internal and external members of the project with EDMS, reporting, processes and other queries.
* Assist with production of the O&M Manuals as directed.
* Assist with data upload to Smartwaste.
* Prepare weekly Asite Status Report and distribute to the project team, Head of Document Control and Design Director.
* Run reports to show overdue actions and outstanding tasks as part of the weekly reporting process and distribute to the relevant parties for action.
* Distribute approved design information to the contractors as per project distribution matrix.
* Create new projects on the Asite as per agreed template.
* Produce project specific Information Management Plan using the company template.
* Oversee a number of projects and ensure they are run in accordance with our standards and procedures.
* Conduct regular reviews and document audits.
* Help to develop and maintain user guides.
* Co-ordinating the induction and training of new users on document management systems.
* Create new projects on the SnagR and assist the project team with reporting on outstanding defects / snags.
