What you will be doing:
Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback
About You
* knowledge of kitchen operations
* Creates a culture which is service focused, positive and driven to succeed, open to change and creative in approach.
* Excellent communicator with well-developed stakeholder management skills (internal and external)
* Exceptionally organised with the ability to efficiently prioritise manners.
* Ability to remain calm when under pressure.
* Ability to work a flexible roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
* A team player who collaborates well with others
* Hardworking and detail-oriented
* Thrives in a mission-driven environment
* Innovates in the kitchen and drives change
* Talented with a desire to create unique, locally-sourced, unforgettable dishes

Qualifications
* Previous experience as Chef De Partie is preferred
* Should be able to Multi-Task
* Can prioritise tasks
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
* Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
* Location: Novotel Birmingham City Centre
