Job Description The main responsibility is to manage the total sales efforts within the hotels to generate pro-actively revenue. The basic guideline to do this is the hotel’s Marketing Plan as well as the Business Plan. He maintains, develops and recognizes Key Accounts/Prospects in Aqaba as well as Amman. He maintains on a regular basis the contacts to the local and international Travel Trade and is involved with all the agreements/contracts the hotel has with major Key Accounts/Tour Operators, etc. He is aware of the market trends from all the existing and potential feeders. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: · Compilation of and adherence to financial budgets within rooms (Market mix, avg. room rate, YIELD and Occupancy). · Organization and monitoring of all administrative affairs within the Sales Office. · Co-operation with hotel’s Rooms Division, F&B, Conference/Seminar, Banquet/Catering department. · Co-ordination with Area Sales Office. · Close contacts to Corporate Accounts and Travel Trade. · The following duties within frame of work: · Sales · Administration · Finance · Contracting · General Qualifications · You have experience in service sector, which is relevant for our business (e.g. retail, hotel industry, catering, hospitality or service division) · You distinguish yourself through your service-oriented way of thinking and value work that has direct customer contact · Ideally, you have already worked as a customer service representative, service agent or sales consultant and are an expert in customer support · You have a confident demeanour and are not only sales-oriented, but perhaps even a charming sales talent · Must be able to work a flexible schedule · Willing to work on a shift rota basis to cover branch opening hours · You have excellent English skills which allows you to be a brilliant communicator.
