About the Role
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this is a high-impact leadership position that blends strategic planning, operational coordination, and customer-centric delivery.
You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and ensuring our services align with evolving client needs across sectors such as energy-from-waste, recycling, construction, and industrial minerals.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
* Growth Strategy : Support the development and execution of strategic plans to expand our footprint across core sectors.
* Operational Alignment : Work closely with traffic, fleet, and depot teams to ensure service excellence and responsiveness.
* Commercial Insight : Collaborate with estimating and finance teams to shape proposals, pricing models, and contract terms.
* Market Intelligence : Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform business decisions.
* Brand Representation : Represent Hargreaves Logistics at industry events, client meetings, and leadership forums.

* Proven experience in strategic account management, business development, or client partnership roles within logistics, infrastructure, or industrial services.
