Surveyor / Senior Surveyor
Location: Hull, United Kingdom.
We are looking for a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor, depending on experience and skills, to join our Hull office. The role focuses on classification surveys of existing ships, ISM/ISPS/MLC audits, and MEC inspections, with occasional travel outside the Hull area.

Role
* Perform surveys on new construction projects, in‑service vessels, and marine equipment at manufacturers’ works, following Lloyd’s Register Rules, regulations and international standards.
* Present deliverables to internal and external clients and suggest appropriate solutions.
* Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
* Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of technical competence.
* Undertake routine administration in line with current processes and procedures.
What you bring
* A degree or equivalent in engineering, physical science, or a relevant marine or nautical qualification with sea‑going experience.
* Membership of a professional institution or working towards chartered or incorporated engineering status.
* Adherence to professional codes of conduct and the LR Code of Ethics.
* Use of specialist engineering knowledge and understanding of existing and emerging technology.
* Ability to design, develop, manufacture, construct, commission, operate and maintain engineering products and systems.
* Experience in technical and commercial management (e.g., project and process management).
* Current or eligible for security clearance.
* Proficiency in English commensurate with the work.
