Surge: Part-Time Project Assistant
Surge has an exciting, part-time job opportunity to join our small, creative team as a Project Assistant, providing administrative and practical support to Surge’s Producer and Director.
We are looking for a dedicated individual to support all our projects, working two and a half days a week.
Our projects focus on outdoor arts, physical theatre, and circus across Scotland. We collaborate with artists, performance companies, and educators at all levels. Additionally, we run the annual Surge Festival, showcasing new Scottish work and international performances in Glasgow's streets, theatres, and unique spaces.

Job Details
* Title: Project Assistant
* Location: Glasgow city centre
* Hours: Part-time / 2.5 days per week (17.2 hours), days negotiable
* Salary: £26,000 per annum (full-time, 35 hrs), pro-rata
* Start Date: 1st September 2025
* Contract: Initially six months, with potential for permanent from April 2026

Role Responsibilities
The Project Assistant will support Surge’s Producer and Director across all projects, assisting with daily operations, festival delivery, bursaries, residencies, and workshops.
