Are you ready to make a significant impact in the construction industry? We’re excited to invite a passionate Quantity Surveyor to become a vital part of our Kier Places – Building Solutions team in London!
Location:
London – Enjoy the flexibility of remote working, with occasional visits to the office.
Hours:
40 hours per week – 08:30–17:00

Your Responsibilities:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality refurbishment and construction projects across London. Your daily tasks will include:
* Managing commercial resources (finance) for assigned projects to maximize planned gross margin.
* Tendering, evaluating, and appointing consultants and subcontractors, along with placing orders for materials and plant.
* Identifying, negotiating, and agreeing on variations to contracts with customers and suppliers.
* Measuring and valuing work to support invoicing and payments.
* Producing monthly reports and forecasts to meet business requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable).
* Have experience in a similar role within construction or refurbishment projects.
* Possess strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supply chains.
* Are organized, able to prioritize, and work effectively to deadlines.
* Can navigate IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke systems.
