About the Role As an Employment Coach, you’ll support unemployed individuals to move closer to the job market and into meaningful work. You’ll manage your own caseload, build strong relationships, and go the extra mile to help participants achieve their goals. Your responsibilities will include: Guiding participants to overcome barriers and creating SMART action plans Identifying transferable skills and matching individuals to suitable roles Signposting to specialist support services (debt, mental health, careers advice) Creating and updating CVs, cover letters, and job applications Preparing participants for interviews and assessments Supporting job searches and ensuring online profiles are up to date Identifying skill gaps and recommending relevant training or courses Working closely with the Employer Engagement Team to source job opportunities Maintaining accurate records on case management and learner systems Delivering excellent customer service while meeting contractual compliance What We’re Looking For We want someone who is: Target-driven with a passion for exceeding KPIs Motivated to deliver life-changing outcomes Experienced in fast-paced, multi-tasking environments Skilled at building rapport, listening, and coaching Confident in motivating and challenging individuals Resilient and able to work with people facing complex challenges Knowledgeable about the labour market Strong in problem-solving and IT skills Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Committed to personal and professional development Able to follow data protection and IT security policies A supportive team player who uplifts colleagues If you’d like, I can also create: A shorter social-media-friendly version A bold, high-impact version for job boards A branded version written in PET-Xi’s tone of voice
