Job Description
What You'll Do:
1. Define and implement a marketing strategy for owned retail, wholesale collaborating with key sales, marketing and buying teams to support sales strategy and growth in these markets.
2. Develop and implement an aligned and integrated rolling retail marketing calendar to support all key go to market strategies and drive sell through per channel.
3. Develop the capability to ensure sell-through is responded to with timely strategies.
4. Prepare locally relevant commercial driving integrated retail marketing campaigns to maximize local commercial peaks.
5. Collaborate with peers to share best practices and improve processes.
6. Identify market and store specific opportunities and recommendations for marketing initiatives to drive awareness and reach new relevant audiences.
7. Manage the topline relationship and expectations with external supplier to ensure optimal execution and increased value creation from these partners.
8. Be the go-to team for brand and PR teams on retailer support across campaign creative, content, distribution, sales and any other relevant information.
9. Communicate marketing and relevant display requirement to field VM team.
10. Close budget management, reporting and analysis against all retailer activity.
11. Create seasonal reports on activity with sales figure, engagement and ROI.
12. Ongoing management and development of the marketing associate.
13. Live, endorse and promote and Canada Goose values.
About You:
14. Minimum 6 years’ experience in management position in a global consumer goods company
15. Industry – Ideally in apparel / fashion / shoes / outdoor
16. Strong quantitative skills – forecasting / budgeting
17. French is an asset
18. Experience in strategic planning and project/process management strong
19. Good People Management skill
20. A genuine passion for Canada Goose and an understanding of consumer’s perception
21. Excellent communication skills
22. Strong stakeholder and peer to peer relations specifically with the sales and VM functions
