About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Nottingham City Council as a Workforce Development Specialist within Children's Services.
You will be joining us to be part of a team that manage and develop learning, development and support opportunities for Children and Education Services. Ranging from delivering training to co-creation of learning materials to embedding learning with others, your work will help professionals feel they have the knowledge, skills and confidence to engage in their work.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone passionate about offering learning to others and those keen to support professionals in their professional development.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Either a training or teaching qualification or equivalent level of experience and/or relevant Health, Social Care, Family Support experience
2. Proven ability in the design and delivery of training packages
3. Proven ability of developing a variety of stakeholder forums and learning opportunities for a diverse audience
4. Advanced presentation and communication skills to a variety of audiences
5. Ability to work effectively within competing priorities and working to tight deadlines
6. Strong interpersonal skills with a self-awareness of how personal communication style impacts on other behaviour
