Behaviour & Inclusion Support Worker - September start - Full Time
We are currently looking for a Student support staff to work in specialist setting based in Bradford. The school provides an education for students who can’t go to a mainstream school, because of exclusion, illness or other reasons and would not otherwise receive suitable education. The particular groups you are working with will be KS3 and KS4 children that are in transition to this new environment.
You may have some experience and more importantly have a passion for working with young people aged 8-19. The work can be very rewarding; however it can also be challengin so you need to be able to show resilience, calm composure and the ability to manage challenging behaviour in the classroom. Many students have challenging home lives and complex communication needs, learning difficulties or are autistic and some occasionally present some challenging behaviours.
Teaching Personnel has been placing professionals in a range of settings for many years. We require the following from our Support Workers:
• A DBS certificate with a live subscription to the update service or a willingness to get one through us.
• Min two professional references within the last three years
• Someone who is committed to the safeguarding of young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
