Blue Arrow are recruiting for experienced DBS chefs to join our team in Birmingham!
Working as a chef your main duties will include:
Overseeing overall management of catering operations
Leading a small kitchen team in delivering a timely service
Being aware of allergen and dietary needs
Stock ordering
Stock takes
Accurate recording of daily and weekly paperwork including temperature checks
Ensuring high standards of kitchen and food hygiene are maintained at all times.
Knowledge of the IDDSI framework.
Skills Required:
Knife skills
Knowledge of stock takes and ordering
Rota management
Working within a budget
Management experience
Qualifications Needed:
Food hygiene level 2 or 3
Allergens
Knowledge of IDDSI
Able to pass an enhanced DBS check or already hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or dated within last 12 months.
Previous experience in a management role
