Location: Remote (Travel within region required)

About the role
We're excited to be looking for Moderators to join our External Quality Assuranceteam on a flexible worker contract for the following qualification.
T Level Technical Qualification in Education and Early Years
The purpose of moderation is to check that centres are correctly and consistently assessing student work and that the materials submitted for moderation meet the required standard.
As a Moderator, you will be expected to complete moderation activities, including completing reports within specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to a high standard during our moderation window which begins on 2 February 2026 and ends on 31 July 2026.
How you'll make an impact :
1. Demonstrating CPD across your area of expertise
2. Moderating centre marking and document outcomes in line with quality assurance guidelines, including both face to face and remote sampling
3. Planning moderation activities for providers allocated in line with NCFE requirements and the moderation sampling strategy, ensuring a proactive approach is taken
4. Conducting timely moderation activities to monitor and review performance against Awarding Organisation (AO) and regulatory requirements to ensure quality and consistency

5. A minimum of a level 3 qualification in the subject area advertised
6. Evidence of working within the education and early years sector
7. Relevant teaching and/or assessing experience
8. Excellent report writing skills
9. Self-motivation and organisational skills
10. A driving licence and the flexibility to travel
