We’re looking for experienced Teaching Assistants ready to bring their calm confidence and classroom know-how to primary schools across Lewisham. Whether you’ve been supporting pupils one-to-one, running interventions, or keeping the classroom ticking alongside a teacher—you’re exactly who our schools need right now.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Supporting children across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (we’ll match to your strengths)
2. Delivering small group work and targeted interventions
3. Assisting the class teacher with planning, prep, and behaviour support
4. Helping pupils with SEND to feel included, supported and confident
5. Bringing structure, kindness and a sense of fun to every day
What We’re Looking For:
6. At least 1 year of TA experience in a UK primary school
7. A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or relevant experience)
8. Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
9. Patience, adaptability, and brilliant communication skills
10. Confidence supporting pupils with varying needs, including SEND
