Position Overview
We are expanding our directly employed team and looking for highly skilled electricians with proven domestic experience.
As a Grade 4 Domestic Service Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering core domestic services to a high standard, including:
EICRs
EICR remedials
Emergency callouts
Quick fixes
EV charging installations
Consumer unit upgrades
Full and partial rewires
Quoting for remedial and upgrade works

Key Responsibilities
Execute MJP systems and processes to consistently exceed client expectations.
Deliver all electrical work safely, neatly and to current regulations (BS7671).
Work collaboratively with customer support and the operations team.
Provide clear updates, job notes, and testing data using our job management systems.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, professionalism and client communication.
Identify improvements and provide feedback to leadership on efficiency and service quality.
Support, motivate and mentor apprentices and newly qualified electricians.
Uphold MJP's reputation through excellent client care and attention to detail.
Requirements
Qualifications Required
Level 3 Electrical Installations (18th Edition).
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5.
C&G 236 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent.
EV Charging 2921–2931 (preferred).
NICEIC / NAPIT approved (preferred).
Solar preferred).
Experience & Knowledge
Minimum 5 years as a qualified electrician.
Domestic electrical services experience (core requirement).
Strong EICR and testing background.
Fault finding and diagnostics.
Consumer unit upgrades.
Rewiring (full and partial).
Light commercial 3-phase experience (preferred).
EV charging installations (preferred).
Solar PV (preferred).
Experience using job management systems (ServiceM8 ideal).
Familiarity with certification software (iCertify).
Proven experience supporting or mentoring apprentices.
Strong customer service background within a service-led environment.
