Overview
As a Chef de Partie you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for a specified section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, following set recipe specifications and brand standards.
* Overseeing and managing small teams of commis chefs; ensure the delivery of the food proposition in accordance with food safety policy.
* Be enrolled on the Butlins Chef Academy to enhance skills in a fun and educational environment, helping progress to more senior levels.
* Deputise in the absence of the Sous Chef; manage and oversee daily operations in your section, ensuring efficiency and compliance with food safety policies.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation; adhere to health and safety regulations and mentor Commis Chefs as needed.
* Prepare and cook dishes with pre-approved recipe specifications; complete relevant daily food diaries and assist in controlling budget margins with the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

* Energetic, enthusiastic, high-spirited, and able to contribute to a positive guest experience.
* Level 3 Food Safety qualification and proven ability to lead a team to deliver high standards in a fast-paced kitchen.
* Experience in managing margins and controlling costs; understanding of health, safety, and hygiene responsibilities.

* Typical working hours: five days over seven, 40 hours per week.
