Looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Chef to join our friendly team at Millars Bar. Now under new management, Millars is fast becoming a' pub with great food' destination which has resulted in a rapid increase in food sales. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us, contribute to our menu, ensure the highest quality of food production and join the most lively and welcoming team of staff you will meet. Responsibilities: Work as part of a small kitchen team Develop and plan menus, including weekly specials, themed nights, functions and events Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained Assist with developing new recipes, including food costing Manage food orders and inventory Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth operations Requirements: Proven experience in a similar chef role Strong culinary skills and knowledge Excellent teamwork and ability to lead the kitchen when required Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment Passion for food and able to assist in developing new recipes and creating delicious meals Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene and a strong knowledge of allergens Ability to work Wednesday to Sunday, including weekends.
