About the Role:
A Behaviour Mentor working with students with special educational needs and mental health needs in schools play a vital role in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments, promoting the well-being and academic success of all students. Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with students, providing one-on-one support and guidance in managing their behaviour and emotions.
* Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop individualized behaviour plans and interventions.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
* Monitor and track student progress, adjusting support strategies as needed to ensure ongoing success.
* Serve as a role model and mentor, inspiring students to develop resilience and confidence in facing challenges.
The successful candidate will:
* Have previous experience working as a behavior mentor within an educational setting.
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience when working with students facing academic or behavioral challenges.
* Hold relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or a related field.
