I am seeking an ambitious, results driven Business Development Manager who is eager to immerse themselves in a pivotal role with one of the areas most trusted and forward thinking M&E maintenance companies.
About the role
Working with, and reporting directly to the senior management team, the successful candidate will already possess a proven track record in B2B sales from within M&E, Facilities Management, or a related building services industry. Based in South East London, the role is offered on a full time, permanent basis, and this exciting opportunity offers tons of scope and variety.
You may already consider yourself to be a maestro at identifying, pursuing, and securing new maintenance contracts and project work – but how would you like to be involved in the FULL business development lifecycle? This will include:
* Lead generation
* Attending and participating in client meetings
* Undertaking detailed site surveys
* Proposal writing
* Contract negotiation, and closing
* Developing and executing strategic business development plans
* Attending industry events
* Operational involvement, ensuring seamless delivery and customer delight
About you
Naturally, a proven Business Development background gained from an M&E related industry is essential. You will also need a good overall understanding of M&E systems (HVAC, lighting, power, plumbing), as well as a complete understanding of scheduling robust and dependable maintenance regies (both PPM and reactive works).
