About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. You will plan and implement care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence.Getting to know residents and their families helps us deliver personalized care plans.Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether showing how to use a walking frame, assisting at end of life, or communicating with families, kindness is your priority.Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you'll provide physical and mental stimulation through activities, and administer medication.
One key responsibility is to maintain accurate records and foster strong team relationships.
Ideally, you’ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and are working towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia. Your positive energy, ability to communicate kindly, and good record-keeping are essential.
