Security Account Manager – Large Scale Projects Location: North West based (Nationwide coverage) Salary: Up to £50,000 basic commission (DOE) Package: Company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday bank holidays, pension Type: Full-time, Permanent An established independent fire and security company, based in the North West, is looking to recruit an experienced Security Account Manager to support continued growth within its large-scale projects division. This is a national role, focused on managing key client relationships and developing new business opportunities for enterprise-level fire and security projects, with a strong emphasis on electronic security (approx. 90%). The Role You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing key accounts, while also identifying and securing new business opportunities for high-value, complex security projects across the UK. Projects will typically involve enterprise-grade systems and solutions, working closely with end-users, contractors, and FM companies on projects valued up to £1 million. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop relationships with existing key enterprise clients Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities nationwide Sell integrated electronic security solutions, primarily security with some fire Work on large-scale projects from initial enquiry through to contract award Engage with end-users, main contractors, and FM companies Promote and sell enterprise security platforms such as Genetec, CCURE, Lenel, and similar Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and tenders Work towards agreed revenue targets and sales KPIs Collaborate with internal project delivery, engineering, and design teams Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM records About You Proven track record in electronic security sales at an enterprise or large-project level Experience selling into end-users, contractors, and FM companies across the UK Strong knowledge of a wide range of security systems, including enterprise platforms such as Genetec, CCURE, Lenel, etc. Demonstrable experience managing and winning projects valued up to £1 million Commercially astute with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills Comfortable operating in a national, field-based role Professional, credible, and confident communicating at all levels Full UK driving licence What’s On Offer Competitive basic salary up to £50,000 (negotiable depending on experience) Uncapped commission structure Company car or car allowance 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension scheme Opportunity to work on complex, high-profile security projects nationwide Long-term career progression within a growing independent business
