We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join us, based in Wakefield. This role involves overseeing large teams, driving performance to meet and exceed KPIs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Effective communication, workload management, and leadership are essential to maintain high standards of service and quality.
Job Responsibilities
1. Manage a diverse team and influence stakeholders to achieve service and performance targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
2. Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
3. Lead depot initiatives, driving process improvements to meet financial and operational goals.
4. Facilitate effective communication across teams and departments, fostering involvement and commitment.
5. Build and maintain strong interfaces with the Warehouse Team, PHOENIX supply chain, and commercial functions to support company initiatives.
Key Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Proven ability to lead and manage large teams effectively.
3. Skilled in workload management to meet and exceed targets and KPIs.
4. Experience in Lean Methodology/Six Sigma environments (preferred).
5. Familiarity with highly regulated industries (advantageous).
6. Ability to align team performance with business objectives and budgets.
