We are currently looking for a Mobile Multi Skilled Operative (Quarry) to join our friendly team based at Tarmac Dunain Mains Quarry, Inverness, supporting across all sites in the Caledonian region. The role involves operating loading shovels, excavators, and both mobile and static processing plants. It’s accessible from Inverness, Elgin, Forres, Kinloss, Lossiemouth, Keith, and surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities
* Reporting to the on-site Section Manager, working as part of the Multi-Skilled Operational team producing dry aggregates for construction.
* Delivering health, safety, environmental, and quality standards in plant operations.
* Operating machinery (excavator, loading shovel, weighbridge).
* Maintaining mobile and static plant and ensuring good housekeeping.
* Ensuring quality and timely delivery of materials to customers.
* Promoting a culture of zero harm and safety awareness.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations on-site.
* Additional duties with full training provided.
The Ideal Candidate
Applicants should have proven experience in a similar aggregate environment, good communication skills, and a desire to develop operative skills. Knowledge of plant operation, quarrying, and risk assessments is preferred. A full UK driving license and IT literacy are required; shovel/excavator licenses are advantageous but not essential. Flexibility to work across multiple sites and occasional Saturday mornings is necessary.
This role involves travel between sites with a company van provided.
