JOB TITLE: UX Designer - 12 Month FTC
SALARY: £68,160 - £ 74,976
LOCATION: Manchester
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.
What you’ll be doing
* Skillfully craft the end‑to‑end user experience, bringing together a cohesive journey step by step, creatively using components from a central design system to figure out the right balance of content and UI (User Interface) elements on screen
* Bring designs to life with a choice of prototyping software, such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, Axure, or Adobe XD
* Balance business requirements with user needs – gathering user research and rationale to align stakeholders on individual user needs; diplomatically push back when necessary to act on what’s right for the customer
* Adapt to the technical constraints of different platforms while guiding the best possible end‑user experience
* Advocate for customer inclusion, designing for a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and technical abilities
