The role

The University of Cambridge is offering a Research Assistant/PhD Student position in the Bivalve Transmissible Neoplasia Group at the Department of Zoology starting from January 1, 2027, for up to 36 months. This role will involve exploring genetic diversity and the evolution of transmissible cancers, requiring a strong background in computational and mathematical biology.

Candidates will engage in data collection and analysis, collaborate within a diverse research team, and develop scientific coding skills using R, Python, and Java. A dedicated training budget and supportive supervision will be provided.
