This Finance Business Partner position offers the opportunity to play a key strategic role within a high-performing finance team, supporting financial planning, performance, and decision-making across an organisation managing over 34,000 homes. You’ll be working closely with senior stakeholders and budget holders across the business, providing clear financial insight and helping teams understand the story behind the numbers. We’d love to hear from anyone with experience as a Finance Business Partner, Senior Management Accountant, Management Accountant, or Financial Analyst within Social Housing or a Housing Association environment. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be: • Producing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts with clear financial analysis • Preparing board and senior leadership reports, explaining financial performance and trends • Acting as a Finance Business Partner to senior stakeholders and budget managers, supporting strategic decision-making • Providing insight into financial data, highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance improvements • Driving improvements in financial reporting, processes, and controls • Ensuring strong financial governance and compliance I’d love to speak to anyone who has: • A professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or is finalist level • Previous experience working within Social Housing or a Housing Association (essential) • Experience producing budgets, forecasts, and management accounts • Strong experience presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse large data sets and provide strategic insight • The ability to build relationships and influence decision-making across different teams Key requirements for this Finance Business Partner role: • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalist • Social Housing / Housing Association experience (essential) • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering experience • Experience working in a large or complex organisation The role is offering the following benefits: • Hybrid working – minimum 3 days in the office with up to 2 days working from home • A high-impact Finance Business Partner role working closely with senior stakeholders • The opportunity to influence strategic financial planning and organisational performance • A supportive and purpose-driven working environment within a leading housing organisation Travel & Location This role is based in the Midlands, with a hybrid working model combining office and home working.
